Who we are:
Al Fellerman was a property and casualty agent in Minnesota from 1967-1999.
Al joined the Shriners Clown Club in 1973. In 1992 the Shrine required that the clowns purchase their own insurance so Al started shopping around and set up a policy for his clown club through General Casualty in 1992.
In 1999 when Al retired from his day job with Farmers Insurance Group, his daughter Stephanie partnered with him to assist with the Clown business. Stephanie’s role was to answer the phone, coordinate renewals or new business, assist with setting up monthly meeting and doing monthly mailing to the club informing them of meeting times and places.
Stephanie was receiving calls from people that were not part of the Shriners Clown Club but they were still interested in the insurance and wanted to take part. She contacted the carrier and asked if we could add other types of performers to the policy. She was given the go ahead and we quickly increased the membership from 50 policies to 200.
At the time we were covering clowns, jugglers, face painters, balloon twisters, storytellers, emcees, magicians, puppeteers, ventriloquists.
In 2004 Stephanie purchased the business from her dad and move the business from Minnesota to Wisconsin.
We now also cover caricature artists, fire performers, aerialists, musicians, chainsaw demonstrations, palm and tarot readings.
In 2010 Stephanie started another policy to cover the mobile vendor selling their wares at the fairs, festivals, farmers markets, and such.
In 2015 we started offering Inland Marine insurance that will cover your business personal property while in transit, in storage or at a show for loss.
We are always looking for ways to go above and beyond in meeting the ever demanding insurance requirements. Please reach out to us and let us know how we can help you! We are here for you!
